Itinerary

Bus Tour from Vienna to Bratislava
Travel comfortably from Vienna to Slovakia’s charming capital on this enjoyable day trip to Bratislava. Your journey begins at the Vienna State Opera, where you’ll board a modern touring bus for the scenic drive of just under one hour to Bratislava.
Please note: the bus transfer itself is not guided.

Guided Walk through Bratislava’s Historic Centre
Upon arrival in Bratislava, a local city guide will welcome you at the bus station and lead you on an engaging walking tour through the historic old town.

Your guided walk begins at the 18th-century Plague Column, followed by a stroll through the lively pedestrian zone of the inner city. You’ll pass the elegant Slovak National Theatre and continue along the picturesque promenade, lined with cosy cafés and inviting terraces.

Highlights of the tour include:

  • Michael’s Gate, crowned with its distinctive onion-shaped dome
  • The Old Town Hall, one of the city’s most important historical buildings
  • The impressive Maximilian Fountain
  • St. Martin’s Cathedral, where Hungarian kings were crowned for centuries

Return to Vienna by High-Speed Catamaran
A final highlight awaits: the return journey to Vienna aboard the Twin City Liner, a modern high-speed catamaran.

Please arrive punctually at the departure dock “Pontoon HUMA 6” at Rázus Embankment (Rázusovo nábrežie 811 02, Bratislava). Your guide will provide the exact departure time on site.

Sit back and relax as you cruise along the Danube, passing the untouched river landscapes and the Donauauen National Park, before arriving in Vienna at Schwedenplatz (Franz-Josefs-Kai 2).

Please note: due to unforeseen circumstances such as water levels or lock and bridge delays, changes to the programme or route may occur.
