Itinerary

The amazing Copenhagen! You just know that a city has to be exceptional if there is a song made about it, and Copenhagen is definitely extraordinary. There are numerous reasons why this is true, and you can see them all with the 24, 48, and 72-hour Classic Route ticket options available.

The open roof buses have the advantage of allowing you to decide whether to investigate anything more when you witness something amazing. We're prepared to bet that as you pass Rosenborg Castle - a magnificent Renaissance structure that was initially constructed as King Christian IV's vacation residence - that will be the case. A summer home, perhaps? Maybe he needed the room, though, given that he had fourteen children who lived to adulthood.

Visiting a palace makes sense after you've seen one. Amalienborg will also not let you down. The Danish Royal Family has resided in these four identically facade palaces since the end of the eighteenth century, when their former residence was destroyed by fire.

Even while many of the non-royal structures in Copenhagen have a regal appearance, there is much more to the city than just palaces. Strøget, one of the oldest and longest pedestrianised streets in the world and a must-visit shopping destination in Copenhagen, is a magnificent illustration of the city's stately architecture. We're sure the Little Mermaid will go here if she ever decides to purchase a dress or a winter coat for herself.

The Bus Tour in Cartagena typically covers the city's most significant attractions and neighbourhoods, providing a convenient way to see the highlights.

Popular stops often include:

  • Tivoli Gardens: One of the oldest amusement parks in the world, offering rides, gardens, and entertainment.
  • Nyhavn: The iconic harbor with its colorful buildings, restaurants, and historic ships.
  • The Little Mermaid: The famous statue inspired by Hans Christian Andersen’s fairy tale.
  • Amalienborg Palace: The home of the Danish royal family, with the changing of the guard ceremony.
  • Christiansborg Palace: The seat of the Danish Parliament and other government offices.
  • Rosenborg Castle: A Renaissance castle housing the Danish crown jewels and royal regalia.
  • Gammel Strand: A historic area along the canal, close to many attractions and eateries.
