Itinerary

Begin an awe-inspiring full-day journey from Athens to the breathtaking Meteora, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its towering monasteries and deep spiritual essence. Your adventure kicks off with a comfortable departure from a central Athens location, right across from the train station. Sit back in a premium, air-conditioned coach as your professional English-speaking driver guides you through the scenic Greek countryside. Instead of a conventional highway rest stop, enjoy a tranquil seaside brunch, just steps from the water, where you can sip coffee or partake in a light meal while taking in coastal views.

Meals are optional and can be conveniently pre-ordered through our onboard app. At around 12:30 PM, you will arrive in Kalabaka and switch to a local VIP minibus, where you will meet your knowledgeable guide for an immersive experience in Meteora. Visit three of its most iconic monasteries and make brief stops at all six for photographs, as your guide shares fascinating stories of faith, history, and tradition against the backdrop of these dramatic rock formations. Continue to the hermit caves of Badovas, where the first monks of Meteora lived in solitude carved into the cliffs. Afterward, you may enjoy an optional lunch in the peaceful village of Kastraki, known for its authentic Greek cuisine and welcoming ambiance.

On your return journey, make one last optional stop in Kamena Vourla around 8:00 PM, where you can savor a relaxing dinner by the sea as the sun sets on a day filled with unforgettable sights and experiences. You will return to Athens around 10:30 PM, enriched with memories from a truly enlightening exploration of Greece's sacred and natural wonders.
