Itinerary

Capri From Rome – Day Trip to Southern Italy
Join us on this classic journey from Rome and discover the breathtaking beauty of southern Italy, including the world-famous island of Capri.

We begin our adventure by travelling south along the “Highway of the Sun”, passing through the scenic Roman countryside and the charming area of Castelli Romani. Our first short stop is in Naples, a world-renowned city offering stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea, Mount Vesuvius, and a rich collection of historic landmarks.

From Naples, we’ll board a ferry for an approximately 1-hour sailing trip across the sparkling bay to Capri. Upon arrival, discover the island’s unique charm with our enthusiastic tour guide as you explore its picturesque streets, famous alleyways, and the lively Piazzetta—the heart of Capri and a favourite meeting place for locals and visitors alike.

During your visit, you’ll also have the opportunity to add an unforgettable optional experience: a visit to the legendary Blue Grotto, famous for its magical blue reflections and shimmering waters. Simply ask your tour leader on the day if you’d like to include this activity (please note: Blue Grotto entry is not included in the standard tour price).

After an afternoon of exploration, we’ll return to Naples, where your coach will be waiting to take you back to Rome.

Itinerary:

6:45 a.m. - Meet in viale Giorgio Washington entrance to the Villa Borghese park metro a line - stop Flaminio 15 minutes before departure.
7:00 a.m. - Departure for Naples
Embark to Capri by ferry boat
Mid-afternoon - Explore Capri
Return to Naples by ferry
Evening - Return to Rome Tour ends at viale Giorgio Washington entrance to the Villa Borghese park metro a line - stop Flaminio

  • In the event of a lost voucher or ticket, the company shall not be responsible for any refunds.
  • The ticket or voucher is valid for the travel date you select.

  • Each individual is permitted one piece of hand luggage.
  • The tour does not take place during the autumn and winter seasons.
  • The designated meeting location is at the entrance of Villa Borghese park on Viale Giorgio Washington, accessible via the Metro A line at the Flaminio stop.
  • Refunds are not available in the event of inclement weather or unfavorable sea conditions.

  • To get the full refund, you must cancel your booking at least 24 hours before the activity/tour start time.
  • If you cancel your booking less than 24 hours before the activity/ tour start time, you will not get any refund.
  • Modifications/ changes are allowed at least 24 hours before the activity/ tour start time.
  • You must contact us through email. The activity/tour's local start time determines the cut-off times.

  • There may be unexpected changes in the timetable due to public holidays, weather conditions, or other unanticipated situations. During major events, summer vacations, and weekends, the city will be quite busy.
  • We will do everything we can to provide a smooth and consistent service! In such cases, no reimbursement is allowed.
  • Tours run regardless of the weather. Weather-related refunds will not be issued unless the service is discontinued due to inclement weather.
  • The service provider preserves the right to amend or cancel the itinerary due to city events or force majeure.
