Itinerary

With us, discover the history and religion of Al Madinah while relaxing on one of our chic buses. As the second-holiest city in Islam, this city welcomes tourists and pilgrims to explore its rich history. Al-Masjid an-Nabawi, also known as The Prophet's Mosque, is located where the Islamic prophet Muhammad once lived and is buried. Follow the Green Line to get there. This gigantic structure has exquisite lighting arrangements. It's said that if you go to the mosque, your prayers will always be accepted. Proceed with your trip and get off once more to see the Al Baquee Cemetery, which is very important because a lot of Muhammad's kin and friends are buried there. From the cemetery, one can observe The Prophet's Mosque, which is situated southeast of it.

Take the Red Line and get on and off as often as you'd like if you're truly interested in learning more about the culture and history of this sacred city. You will visit the locations of the Uhud Battle and the Prophet's departure from Al Madinah with a mere 700-strong Muslim army in order to protect Madinah against invasion. You may also get off at Al-Noor Mall and Abu Bakr Road, two of the city's most notable attractions where tourists can have an opulent and distinctive shopping experience.

Follow the Red Line until you reach the Quba Mosque, one of the oldest mosques in the world, or Masjid al-Qiblatayn Mosque, where the Prophet was given the order to shift the direction of worship from Jerusalem to Mecca. Allow yourself to be amazed by Al Madinah's rich cultural and religious legacy!

Popular stops on the Hop-On Hop-Off Route often include:

  • Al-Masjid an-Nabawi (Prophet's Mosque): One of the holiest sites in Islam, containing the tomb of the Prophet Muhammad.
  • Quba Mosque: The first mosque ever built in Islam, located on the outskirts of Al Madinah.
  • Mount Uhud: A mountain located north of Al Madinah, significant in Islamic history.
  • Qiblatain Mosque: A mosque where the direction of Muslim prayer (qibla) was changed from Jerusalem to Mecca.
  • Date Markets: Al Madinah is famous for its date markets, where visitors can purchase a variety of dates and other local products.
