Itinerary

Explore Glasgow with City Sightseeing
Let the Glaswegian adventure begin! Hop on at any stop you like and start your journey through one of Scotland’s most exciting cities. Hop off at historic George Square to admire the grand City Chambers, which boasts more marble than the Vatican. Then travel from a 19th-century icon to a medieval masterpiece at Glasgow Cathedral, dating all the way back to the 12th century.

Modern Glasgow is famous for its warmth and character — and it’s easy to see why it’s often called one of the world’s friendliest cities. Head to the lively Barras Market, a true Glasgow institution, and enjoy a blether (chat) with the locals as you browse an eclectic mix of quirky treasures. Prefer something more traditional? Hop back on and explore the bustling shopping streets around Argyle Street.

One of Glasgow’s greatest strengths is its thriving music scene, and you can dive into its vibrant history and legendary venues by tuning into our multilingual commentary — including a dedicated music tour. Music lovers can ride along the River Clyde and hop off at the SEC, the striking waterfront venue affectionately known as the Armadillo thanks to its sleek, futuristic design.

Back on the top deck, head towards the city’s beautiful West End and snap unforgettable photos of the gothic spires at the University of Glasgow. Hop off to explore the historic campus — you’ll feel like you’ve stepped into a Harry Potter film. And because the University sits on a hill, you’ll be rewarded with incredible views across the city.

The name Glasgow translates as “the dear green place” — and it certainly lives up to it. The city is filled with open green spaces, and Kelvingrove Park is one of the finest. Hop off right beside the park and visit the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, home to over 9,000 artworks and artefacts. Best of all? Entry is completely free.

Ready for a well-earned cuppa? Our bus drops you right outside the stylish Willow Tea Rooms. Treat yourself to a traditional afternoon tea while admiring the elegant lines of Charles Rennie Mackintosh’s iconic design — a hallmark of the café, and of Glasgow itself.
