Itinerary

You will have the opportunity to witness Stonehenge's enormous, old stone circle and learn about the intriguing myths surrounding this ancient structure throughout your visit. Was Stonehenge a sun worship centre, a therapeutic haven, a graveyard of sanctified remains, or something else entirely? The inventiveness of Stonehenge's builders is undeniable. They shaped the stones and constructed the mortises and tenons that attached upright to lintels using only extremely simple tools. They built the banks and ditches that around the stones and dug the pits to contain them using antlers and bones. Try to figure together how, who, and why the stones came to settle in that location as you move about.

Remember to check out the many permanent and temporary exhibitions at the Stonehenge Visitor Centre to get the most out of your day trip from London to Stonehenge. There are 250 archaeological finds found across the area, including jewellery, ceramics, and even tools! It's also imperative to stop by the sizable store and café.

Augmentation Reality:
Add Augmented Reality (AR) to your Stonehenge visit to make it even more memorable. With personalised routes, this immersive storytelling experience provides 360-degree reconstructions that detect your position automatically. You can view today and the past side by side with the split screen feature. You'll find a tonne of interesting facts, tales, myths, and legends with closed captions thanks to years of investigation and first-hand experience from archaeologists. The sixteen AR perspectives of Stonehenge span four eras of its extensive history. Will you figure out the mystery of the stones' placement?
