Itinerary

The tour is conducted on the "Trolley of the Doomed," a spooky trolley that sets the mood for an evening filled with terrifying tales. The experience is both creepy and entertaining, with guides dressed as "Ghost Hosts" narrating the story with a blend of humour and macabre narration. With stops at significant landmarks where ghostly encounters have reportedly occurred, the trip explores some of Key West's most enigmatic and haunting areas.

Take a Ride into Key West’s Bizarre Past
Your journey starts with your Ghost Host, a unique person even by Key West standards, who will be your tour guide as you ride the Trolley of the Doomed around historic Old Town in search of the lost souls. We shall go from the present into the past with them as they tell us stories of murder, illness, and disaster in pursuit of the Lady in Blue, weird dolls, and lost graves.

Some of the most sad and revered locations on the island, like Captain Tony's Saloon and the Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes, which shields the city from hurricanes, will pass by. You most likely believe it to be just a pub. But is it? Even the grand St. Paul's Church, established by the most illustrious family in Key West, conceals mysteries.

During your journey, you will stop at the Key West Shipwreck Treasure Museum, which is located deep within a cistern and is home to ghost stories about people who formerly lived there. You will find 'Daddy Long Legs' and the ill-fated silver bar from a shipwreck in 1656 as you make your way upstairs.

On stormy, gloomy evenings, we run! It is advised that you wear comfortable shoes so that you don't pass out while walking. This unique tour has a limited number of spaces!

Youngsters younger than 13 may not be permitted to participate in this tour.

Important Info:

  • It is recommended you book in advance as tickets sell out, especially at weekends
  • There may be disruptions due to weather, traffic, and events. Refunds due to weather will not be issued unless the service is suspended due to weather.
  • Due to capacity restrictions, ALL guests must check in on-site between 15 minutes to 5 minutes prior to your tour time. Anyone not checked in within 5 minutes of their tour time may be considered a no-show and their seats may be re-allocated. We will try and fit any late guests on the next available tour if possible.
  • Wheelchair/ Stroller Access (Wheelchairs require 24-hour advance notice)
  • Hand-Baggage allowed, no big size bag or suitcases are allowed
  • Assistance animals, such as seeing-eye dogs, are the only animals that are allowed on board the trolleys.
  • Seating is on a first come first serve basis.
  • Stops and timings are subject to alter. There will be an updated map on the bus.
  • Tour runs most dark and stormy nights so dress appropriately. Part of the tour is walking. Wear comfortable shoes. OTT is not responsible for things left behind on the trolleys.
  • Part of tour is exploring the Shipwreck Treasures Museum and this involves walking
  • This tour may not be suitable for children under 13 years of age. Availability in late October is extremely limited.
  • There may be a small delay in the bus's arrival and departure schedules.
  • Road closures and heavy traffic can result in delays, reduced trips, and route modifications. We'll make every effort to deliver a seamless and regular service! Under these circumstances, there will be no refund.

  • To get the full refund, you must cancel your booking at least 24 hours before the activity/tour start time. If you cancel your booking less than 24 hours before the activity/ tour start time, you will not get any refund.
  • Modifications/ changes are allowed at least 24 hours before the activity/ tour start time.
  • You must contact us through email. The activity/tour's local start time determines the cut-off times.

  • There may be unexpected changes in the route or timetable due to traffic, public holidays, weather conditions, cruise ship arrivals, or other unanticipated situations. During major events, summer vacations, and weekends, the city will be quite busy. We will do everything we can to provide a smooth and consistent service! In such cases, no reimbursement is allowed.
  • Tours run regardless of the weather. Weather-related refunds will not be issued unless the service is discontinued due to inclement weather.
  • The service provider preserves the right to amend or cancel the itinerary due to city events or force majeure.
