Tour Description

San Francisco to Yosemite National Park Tour:
Take the guided tour of the most popular sights in Yosemite Valley as soon as you arrive at Yosemite. After that, have some free time to explore alone. Visit the Ansel Adams Gallery, rent a bike (at your own expense) to explore the valley bottom, or stop by the ranger's station for educational talks and hikes. Wander along the Merced River's banks or explore the Indian Village of Ahwahnee.

One of the world's most stunning national parks is Yosemite. You will be taken around the park's main attractions in a single day with this fully guided trip. Our 14-person or smaller groups give you a lot more freedom to explore the park and choose from a variety of possibilities. The duration of the Yosemite excursion is 12 to 15 hours. It takes about three and a half hours to drive 200 miles east from San Francisco to Yosemite National Park.

We take a beautiful drive through the East Bay before ascending into the Sierra Nevada foothills. James Marshall's discovery of gold here in 1848 marked the beginning of the California gold rush. One of the first gold towns will be traversed by us. Late in the morning, we reach Yosemite National Park, where your tour guide will tell you about some of the park's wonders.

You will get a couple hours to explore the park on your own after you enter.

The five tallest waterfalls in North America are found in Yosemite, including Sentinel Falls, Ribbon Falls, and Yosemite Falls. Additionally, we will stop at the well-known Half Dome, Cathedral Rocks, and 3500-foot El Capitan cliffs to observe the climbers as they make their four- to seven-day trek. About three to four hours are allotted for the visit within the park. In Yosemite Valley, visitors can purchase their own lunch.

Important Info:

  • PLEASE NOTE: Non-U.S. residents aged 16 and older will be charged an additional $100 park entry fee per person (plus $3 administrative fee) after completing their booking. This fee will be collected by the local tour operator via a payment link prior to the departure date or on the bus at the start of the tour. “America the Beautiful Non-Resident Pass” holders are exempt, as the $250 pass covers up to four people at the entrance. This fee does not apply to any U.S. residents who can proof residency with a valid photo ID.
  • There may be disruptions due to weather, traffic, and events.
  • Hotel pick-up needs to be scheduled at least 72 hours prior to departure. More information will be provided with your voucher after booking.
  • Children under 5 years are free.
  • Carry a jacket as it can get cold on the bus
  • A child safety seat or booster seat is required for all children under 8 years of age or 4' 9" in height.
  • Dress comfortably.
  • You can board the bus at any stop and voucher can be exchanged directly with the driver.
  • Stops and timings are subject to alter. There will be an updated map on the bus.
  • There may be a small delay in the bus's arrival and departure schedules.
  • Road closures and heavy traffic can result in delays, reduced trips, and route modifications. We'll make every effort to deliver a seamless and regular service! Under these  circumstances, there will be no refund.

  • To get the full refund, you must cancel your booking at least 72 hours before the activity/tour start time.
  • If you cancel your booking less than 72 hours before the activity/ tour start time, you will not get any refund.
  • Modifications/ changes are allowed at least 72 hours before the activity/ tour start time.
  • You must contact us through email. The activity/tour's local start time determines the cut-off times.

  • There may be unexpected changes in the route or timetable due to traffic, public holidays, weather conditions, cruise ship arrivals, or other unanticipated situations. During major events, summer vacations, and weekends, the city will be quite busy. We will do everything we can to provide a smooth and consistent service! In such cases, no reimbursement is allowed.
  • Tours run regardless of the weather. Weather-related refunds will not be issued unless the service is discontinued due to inclement weather.
  • The service provider preserves the right to amend or cancel the itinerary due to city events or force majeure.
