Itinerary

In St. Augustine, the Oldest Store Museum Experience offers guests an intriguing view into the history of the city via the perspective of a general store from the late 19th century. The everyday activities and commercial activity of St. Augustine during that era are highlighted by a variety of artefacts and historical items on display in this interactive museum.

The museum depicts what daily life was like for people living in St. Augustine by modelling a general store from the 1800s. The store and its numerous departments, which feature historical items and artefacts, are open for exploration by guests. Household goods, toys, clothes, and food items are just a few of the many items that were offered in the store during the 19th century. The exhibitions offer a window into the past and are made to be as realistic as possible.

An interesting presentation by a costumed interpreter is one of the attractions of the Oldest Store Museum Experience. As a shopkeeper, the interpreter tells tales about the history of the establishment, the goods offered, and the way of life in St. Augustine at that time.

This interactive feature, which lets visitors interact with the past directly and ask questions, helps make the history come to life.

The museum is home to an amazing array of artefacts from the late 19th century, including tools, household goods, and merchandise. Numerous of these objects shed light on the customs and way of life of the era.
