Itinerary

A terrifying guided nightly tram trip through one of the oldest and most haunted cities in America is the St. Augustine Ghosts & Gravestones trip. Because of its lengthy past, which includes battles, pirate invasions, and terrible incidents, St. Augustine is the ideal setting for stories about ghosts and otherworldly occurrences. Combining historical details with spooky tales of hauntings and otherworldly experiences, the tour offers an engaging way to learn about the darker side of St. Augustine's past.

The tour, which is led by a "ghost host," offers an entertaining and eerie look at the city's haunted locations. The guides are real and tell tales of spooky incidents, restless spirits, and paranormal activity that have been documented throughout St. Augustine's history.

As you go around the historic district's dimly lit streets, you'll discover stories of terrible murders, enigmatic disappearances, and eerie locations.

The tour is intended to be eerie but not overly terrifying, so families with older children as well as adults would find it enjoyable. The tour has an extra element of realism because the ghost stories are based on real historical occurrences and eyewitness reports of paranormal activity.

As you ride through St. Augustine's historic streets after dark, the ominous atmosphere is enhanced by the Ghosts & Gravestones Trolley, which is specifically adorned for the tour. The open-air tram lets you take in the eerie surroundings to the fullest.

Prepare yourself for a close-up look at the Old Jail, the most haunted structure in the town. Numerous paranormal occurrences have been documented at this location, which is listed on both the Florida and National Registers of Haunted Places. Discover the truth about an audio recording (EVP) taken during an actual paranormal investigation and its potential relationship to the well-known hangings that occurred at this location. It is advised to bring cameras or camera phones so you can potentially capture something otherworldly via the building's iconic and menacing windows!

Historic Places:

The Old Jail: One of the most famous stops on the tour, this historic jail, built in 1891, is said to be haunted by former prisoners. Visitors will have the chance to explore the jail and hear stories of executions, tragic deaths, and ghostly encounters.

Tolomato Cemetery: While you won’t be able to go inside the cemetery, the trolley passes by this historic burial ground where the spirits of early settlers are said to linger.

Potter’s Wax Museum (Old Drugstore): Some tours include a stop inside the old drugstore, part of the Potter’s Wax Museum, where haunted happenings have been reported. You’ll hear tales of ghostly apparitions and unexplained events.

Other Historic Landmarks: Depending on the tour route, other haunted sites may include Huguenot Cemetery, Castillo de San Marcos, and other eerie locations where supernatural activity has been reported.
